Vendu Rotterdam is one of the oldest auction houses in the Netherlands. The first establishment of the Notarishuis dates from the French occupation in 1812. After undergoing several transitions, the current Vendu Rotterdam has been situated in the monumental building at the Kipstraat for several decades. Our team looks forward to welcoming you there.
Vendu witnessed the development of the city of Rotterdam into a world harbour with its own story over the past 200 years. The destruction of the Second World War and the subsequent period of reconstruction characterise Rotterdam as it is now. Our auction house reflects this zeitgeist and it developed into a hub for professionals, gallery owners, avid collectors and interested individuals with a shared love of both classical and modern objects. Besides years of experience in the fields of art and antiques, our auction house distinguishes itself with specialised Design sales selling applied art from 1900 to now. The auction house also organizes auctions for Jewellery & Watches with an international character. Next to that, we dedicate a specific auction to people with special collections.

Vendu Rotterdam organizes approximately 20 auctions per year. These are often preceded by viewing days. The auctions consist of: Art & Antiques, Design, General, Jewellery & Watches, Collectables and Real Estate. During our various auctions, we sell approximately 20,000 lots every year. This varies from furniture, art, design, and jewellery to special collections in every area. In addition, we occasionally organize auctions with a specific theme such as wine or fashion.
